Customer Spotlight: Brianne Galgon

Being a member of Gemutlichen Enzianer for almost 20 years and also a member of the United German Hungarian for almost two years my German heritage has always been a big part of my life. I have met many great friends and even my husband through this amazing community. Growing up every girl dreams of the perfect dress that they want to wear on their wedding day, for me that wasn't the case. For me it was having the perfect dirndl to wear as I dance with my clubs to a traditional German folk dance at the reception and surprise everyone, including my husband as we lined up on the dance floor to dance for with a beautiful dirndl.   

I knew there was only one way that I would be able to have this become a reality and it was to have Erika custom make one for me. From the moment I showed her pictures and explained what I wanted she knew exactly where to go with it. From the way the pearls were hand sewed into the neck/bust line all the way to the lace apron I was in love with it all.

After the wedding I even wore the dirndl at the hotel bar having people that have never seen a dirndl before tell me how beautiful the dress was. To me that just meant that I had to wear it again this past July/August at Gaufest. Even that Thursday night at Gaufest people were stopping me asking where I had gotten such a beautiful dirndl and I pointed them in the direction of Erika's shop. Some of us ladies in the United German Hungarians had all agreed one day that "Once you buy your first dirndl it becomes an addiction". I know I have an addiction and can't wait to get more dirndl's from Erika.
