Rare Dirndl's First Oktoberfest

Here's something I don't love admitting publicly: I've been designing dirndls since 2010 and I have never been to Oktoberfest in Munich.

I know. I KNOW... but life, kids, the stars never aligned. 

Until NOW! This fall I'm finally going... and I'm going as a working designer on a full research mission. I'll be traveling with Ashley Smith from My Wanderlusty Life, a true Oktoberfest expert, and together we're scoping styles, watching what locals actually wear, and experiencing the world's most famous Volksfest firsthand.
