Day 10: Star Wars Day! | Rare Dirndl

Day 10: Star Wars Day!

May 4th is Star Wars Day (May the fourth be with you) and so I went all out! I have a lot of Star Wars gear so it was kind hard to choose, but I decided on the In Bloom Dirndl with my Star Wars Apron, Black Mini Dirndl Petticoat, old green V-Neck Blouse, Industrial Edelweiss Necklace, my blue fleece leggings, R2D2 socks and my Chewbaca Jacket.

I felt like a bad ass! I knew that with the big fur coat I looked pretty ridiculous, but I loved every second of it! I felt like I was a jedi and I could conquer the world!

I also can't help it... I love the petticoats. They are just the right amount of poof and they are just so fun. They are made by a great company based in Tennessee and they're primary customers are square dancers. They are made in the USA and the style I carry for Rare Dirndl is perfect for dirndls!

I went out later in the day to grab a drink with some girlfriends and the bar was pretty empty. I did run into a girl I used to work with (when I used to work at Laschet's Inn) and I met her fiancé. He did look at me a little funny and I introduced myself, "Hi! I'm Erika! I don't normally dress like this... wait who am I kidding... I do." haha! I think it was the big Wookie jacket that compelled me to explain myself. Anywooo. It was a great day, and I loved loved loved my outfit... Nailed it!!!!
