I have very fond memories of baking cookies with my grandparents during the holidays and listening to music. I think on these memories often when I hear the German Christmas songs that they used to play... but where can I hear them without busting out the old cassette tapes?

Well I found my favorites on Spotify and I'm excited to share them here with you. My personal favorite is All Jahre Wieder and of course who doesn't love some Heino and Freddy Quinn? Enjoy!!

While you're listening to the playlist... in the back of your mind you are most likely worrying about that Christmas list and what do get people for Christmas. I've put together a Google Sheet with all the potential people on your list. Here is my list with some gift ideas already filled out. (You are totally welcome to steal these ideas!)

Additionally if you prefer to start from scratch, here is a blank list you can fill in.  To edit it, simply Select All and Copy/Paste into excel or a new Google Sheet. Then you can add to it or take off people. But at least the basics are done for you.

What is your favorite German Christmas song? Did I miss one on my list? Let me know in the comments below.
