The weather is still very chilly here in Chi, so I choose my outfit for Day 3 with my black fleece-lined leggings in mind. I decided to go with the "Smells Like Teen Spirit Dirndl" with the leggings, distressed sweater, Sweetheart Blouse with Draped Sleeves and motorcycle boots.

In the mid morning I went to Mariano's to get some groceries and wurst, käse & brot for the Lincoln Square Spring Wine Stroll (a great event here in Lincoln Square where people get tickets, and then stroll along the streets stopping in to local businesses where we all have wine and snacks).

I kept my coat on because it was pretty chilly in the store, but I took my scarf off and tried to show off my dirndl a little bit. But no one seemed to look at me like I was wearing anything out of the ordinary! Which I thought was kinda nice. The guy at the deli counter was more intrigued by the fact that I was buying liver sausage, head cheese, dill havarti and bologna than the fact that I was wearing a dirndl haha!

Later that night I met up with one of my besties at our favorite German bar and she decided to wear her dirndl too! We had a beer (or two) and everyone at the bar just complimented us on how cute we looked and asked "What's the occasion?" We simply replied... "It's Wednesday, why not?"
