Rare Dirndl Stories & Customer Spotlights
October 2014, my now husband asked me to marry him and I said "YES!" and on January 16th 2016 we said "I do". We were married at a unique venue in Chicago, but didn't neglect to incorporate our heritage into our big day. Little things like adding rosemary into all the floral arrangements (including a sprig for all the guests), schnitzel and homemade German wurst for appetizers, plenty of polkas and waltzes to dance to, homemade German cookies for dessert, and of course dirndls!
In my life I wear many hats. I’m a mom of 4, a music teacher to many, and a leader of a 12 piece band. But honestly, I’m just a German girl at heart!
Jennifer wore her dirndl to a wedding in Austria and said that everyone "loved the dirndl in Zermatt! Here we are getting ready, hiking up the mountain to the dinner/drinking schnapps, and enjoying fondue and kirschwasser with a bunch of trachten-clad "mountain chic" friends. Thanks for getting me the perfect dress!!"
